Sometimes by reading or looking at some of these people recriminations, I have the impression that their main issue is making sure that also men feel what "being oppressed" means. Do you remember that Mary Jane statuette issue (http://farm1.static.flickr.com/189/493753697_f4a96c076f_o.jpg)..? Now, all the critics against that thinglet were obviously the result of a sick mind. I remember that one artist came up with a male version of it, Spiderman wearing a tanga and cleaning Mary Jane's underwear. Now, that version wasn't considered sexist or the result of poor taste, but a humourous and smart counterattack. I sense some double standards here..?
I'm obviously ok with women sharing the same benefits and rights as men, but this kind of absurd troubles over NOTHING get me fucking SICK. I mean-- There are places on this planet were women are supposed to get their genitals sewed to save their virginity, places were rape is taken for granted and it's actually "the woman's blame" for getting raped, and these "feminist" people are starting internet battles because Sakura in still in love with Sasuke?! For fuck sake D: !!
So, yeah, I'll never allow people like that to represent me as a woman, and I can't be glad that you're fine with that :/
