Oh, I agree that most of the characters are unbearable, but I don't think that "nothing interesting happens" x'DDD Maybe you had to watch it properly, instead of playing Solitaire XDD ? And OMG, it's a FANTASY world, there atre dragons spitting COLOURED FIRE and people that use BLACK MAGIC, ok if you wanna complain about how a robot wih two cockpits works (not really XD) but you can show a bit of flexibility in this department!
If you want my honest opinion, I don't find it so great either, but since I took some characters in sympathy, I wanna see how it goes for them-- Then when they'll die or turn evil randomly I'll drop it x'D
