'Tra i Fiori' sneak preview!
Making a new tag for the updates concerning my webcomics, so those who are following them from Smackjeeves can find them easily è_é/
Anyway, SameYome is going to end soon, there are probably something like 6/10 pages left, and I'm already thinking about what's coming next-- This time I wanna go and try to make it all cool and spiffy, like all the other webcomics around-- So, coloured pages and high definition, so if it will get successful I could print it ^_^
Not like cute Sameyome, that unfortunately will never get the pleasure of a printage also if people likes it ;_;
--Ok, I'm probably going ahead with my fantasies of glory >_>;
So, here's a preview :D
I came with a nice plot in my head, and I'm just fixing the details :D
The story is about the spirit of a sakura tree cursing this boy who accidentally broke one of its flowery branches while taking a picture.
The spirit's friend, a carrion-crow, will act like a villain/hero during the story, and in the end he will help the protagonist to lift the curse that affects his love life.
They are the spirit of the sakura tree, cute but mischievous Mizume, and his carrion-crow friend, the grumpy Tsuiba (temporary name)-- Tsuiba decided to hang around Mizume 'cause he wanted to to eat the fruits of his flowers, without knowing that Japanese cherries tree don't make cute fruits, LOL. --But in the end the two became friends.
Since Mizume is a tree and can't move, Tsuiba is like his eyes, and entertains him with his stories.
Mizume's design is obviously inspired by Kuranosuke from Kuragehime XD --At least for the pretty crossdressing part. The personality is quite different.
Tsuiba is like a ninja. Since he acts like a spy and like some kind of "servant" to Mizume, I thought that such design would fit him. The main inspiration for his character was that of a Tengu, though.
--Looking at them, I think that their personalities are awfully similar to those of Keani and La'akea from Sameyome, actually >_>; ...
