It's the Autumn Anime Season!

Sorry for late guys, it's such a frantic time that I merely have the time to update you ToT !!

Anyway, the list of the anime that I'm watching right now:
What about your picks?

First of all, I'm happy to see some really good and interesting stuff :3 As usual, the autumn season is the best ever :3

HAIKYUU! (2nd season) - vote: 9 - Ah, my beautiful boys∼ ! Great characters, fun and hotblooded situations, much better than real life volleyball ||orz !!! This second seasons starts with the boys of Karasuno looking forward to a serie of training matches in Tokyo with Nekoma and other strong schools! Cute Yachi-chan makes her appearance too!

HEAVY OBJECT - vote: 8 - This was a suggestion by Teap and it's a pretty good series.
It's mecha, but instead of your usual humanoid thing, this time the weapons are shaped like *balls* called "objects" and the whole battle is decided on their use. The story follows the adventures of a team located in Alaska. Right now their object has been destroyed and they have to survive to an unexpected attack! The story is realistic and entertaining, I'm really set off by the female protagonist who is a stupiud loli, but she's the silent type like Rei Ayanami, so hopefully I could tolerate her.

HIGH SCHOOL STAR MUSICAL - vote: 6 - Aaah, my pretty boys! Missing my cute guys from Shonen Hollywood this looked like a decent substitute, but I'm already missing the realistic slice of live of my idol boys. By now I'm enjoying the characters, they still follow the usual stereotypes but they show some twists (the green boy is the leader! As in Shonen Hollywood! YEEEH!) and the senpai are really entertaining to see in their subtexty gayness, but the songs are really stupid-- I see that the episodes are supposed to look like mini-musicals, but I can't really help to fast-forward those x'D

KAGEWANI - vote: 5 - I was looking forward to this, I really wanted some cool horror story in my list (to watch when the sun is up!) so I was really pissed when I realized that the episodes are just 5 minute shorties Dx ! I want to know more about the creepy professor and see him interact with the cases!!

KOWABON - vote: 4 - Same as above, but with the aggravating of having no creepy professor. On the verge of being dropped, also if I think that I'll watch it anyway as it's ridiculously short. Similar to Kamishibai (as Kagewani is) but waaaaay less scary and disturbing.

GUNDAM: THE IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS - vote: 8 - Aaah, I'm really enjoying this new Gundam series (go figure, LOL) :D Mature and dramatic setting, lots of proper fights with mobile suits without stupid random laser beams! Just two episodes out by now, pretty entertaining, really looking forward to where it's going :3 25 episodes are scheduled by now, I like this shorter format of recent Sunrise series.

SAKURAKO-SAN NO ASHIMOTOBlabla - vote: 6 - I was intrigued by the summary but now I'm a bit bothered by the fact that this is pretty much a Bones anime with a Japanese topping: the "bones enthusiast" is a rich young lady with pretty long hair, she's a mix of moe and sadist with a disturbing flavour, her "assistant" is a shota boy.
I'll keep watching it, but since I hate the Bones TV series I don't think that I may enjoy these characters (at least hare there are no idiotic supporting characters)--

SUBETE GA F NI NARU - vote: 6 - Another "thriller" series, a series that I picked with the wish to clean myself from that shitty Ranpo Kitan-- As it's been good since it contributed to make me curious about the books of Ranpo Edogawa (and Poe XD), the execution was really embarassing! --Anyway, about Subete, I just watched one episode so I couldn't get a clear idea, but, even if a bit boring and slow-paced, it seems like a story with a decent potential and intriguing characters-- Let's see what will happen!

--And what about you, guys :D ?

The list of series I watch is shorter and very anime-less. XD Currently I'm watching Doctor Who (2005), Family Guy, Gotham, South Park, Star Wars: Rebels and The Walking Dead, plus I'm waiting for Black Sails, Sherlock and the premiere of Ash vs Evil Dead. :D

BTW, all praise ShowRSS, this site is ever so helpful in following your favourite shows.

You're getting old, while I'm keeping in touch with my inner teenager XD

I like Gotham a whole lot, I really like the way they handle the characters (except Barbara) and Alfred is by far my favourite. Plus, he's played by the son of the Third Doctor, how cool is that? :D

Gotham gets better all the time, two episodes aren't enough to pass an accurate judgement. You didn't even get to see the better moments of the Penguin and Eddie, not to mention Penguin's mum or Jerome. That kid especially was crazy.

Well, the idea for the series was that it takes place shortly after Bruce's parents died, so of course everyone is going to be young. Except Alfred, of course, he always stays the same age no matter how old everyone else is.

You must be thinking of some other guy, Sean Pertwee wasn't in The O.C.

You're missing out! :P

Ah, you mean Ben McKenzie. I was talking about Sean Pertwee, who plays Alfred - he's the son of Jon Pertwee, who played the Third Doctor on classic Doctor Who.

Waaah! Dae! I started out a big old reply to this and my computer ate it. *sighs* Oh well, here we go again.

Haikyuu! I was so excited for it! And yet I can't even bring myself to watch the first episode! I'll get to it soon.

High School Star Musical - I need my fix of rainbow haired boys singing. It's like UtaPri, but minus the female love interest gumming up the BL aspect. Also, I think the singing is better, but it's still just a bit of silly fun.

Kagewani - Not sure how I feel about that one yet.

Sakurako-San - I don't think I'm going to like it. Sakurako-san's behaviour is annoying. "I'm so smart, but disinterested, but secretly childish and I'm taking this human skull!" When random high school kids are more mature than you...

Perfect Insider - Um...yeah, that one wants to be all deep. I don't know how long I'll be able to stick with it.

Things Cookie is watching that Dae isn't:

Dance with Devils - Naive and sheltered high school girl gets tangled up with group of handsome demons, who are also the student council. She seems set to be the magical grimoire that everyone is hunting for and is probably off being just a book for all the terrible treatment she seems set for. I'm just there for the pretty boys, we'll see how long I can hold out against the stupid plot.

Garo: Guren no Tsuki - Well, I watched the last one, so I picked up this one too. Pretty much what you expect from Garo, monsters, armor, lots of growling and yelling as they fight. New characters/designs/setting which is fun, though some of the same voice actors return.

One Punch Man - How did this one not make your list Dae?! Guy trains to be a hero and ends up being so overpowered, he kills things with one punch and becomes pretty apathetic towards life. It's actiony and goofy. :D

K: Return of Kings - Hope it has lots of BL subtext, like the last season :P

Owari no Seraph - Haven't watched it yet, but it's season two, which I was looking forward to after my babies finally found each other last season.

Osamatsu-san - This is an old series making a modern comeback for whatever reason. Even if you don't pick it up, I recommend watching the first episode. Basically, these really old characters try to decide how to become popular in a modern era and become a magical boyband and all sorts of modern tropes come into play. It's really funny. The second episode settled down into its normal format and it's amusing enough. A ridiculous sort of slice of life.

I'm still watching Ushio and Tora from last season. And lots of other things. Your watching list is so nice and neat. My watching list has 44 things on it in various states of being watched. Sometimes I'm bad about finishing series.

I feel like a lot of anime that are trying to be smart just try too hard. They make it too complicated and the philosophy so boring. The second episode of Sakurako-san is out and I'm like "Hmm, should I even bother?"

I didn't make it past episode two of Shounen Hollywood. >_> Sometimes I want my stupid fun to just be stupid and Shounen Hollywood felt like it had too much slice of life realism. Was I wrong?

Foe One Punch Man, I haven't read the manga, so I can't compare if its on the same track. So far, the whole thing is pretty fast paced, so it doesn't linger too much, but it's pretty silly. The hero being more concerned with groceries and sales than badguys, because they're so easily defeated.
