Oh, Lord, how good was Fate/Zero ;_; ..?
Wonderful story and characters' portrayal!!! Even the shitty characters are awesome because they are functional to the story ;o; <333
The characters that I hated the most are Kiritsugu and Sola. Two whores with different appeals >_>; ! I hope that Kiritsugu'll get better in season 2, 'cause I was still amused by his role as Shiro's dad ._.
--I liked Kayneth ;_; I like those kind of proud, smartass characters, and I suffer to see them miserable ;_; I LIKE TO PAIR HIM WITH LANCER ;___; ...I don't like Lancer very much either, but his relationship with Kayneth was cute ;__; Also, if I don't know how much was his actual feelings and how much the fear for the curse in his past life as a hero...
...Randomly spaking of pairings, am I the only one who wants to see Berserker/Saber (aka Lancelot/Arthur) ;o; ..?
My favourite character is Kirei. I ship Kirei with Gilgamesh, NO MATTER WHAT. GHH, HOW EROTIC. I wanted to ship him with Tokiomi at first, but Tokiomi never really got on me as I thought he would :/ ! I was expecting much more out of Rin's dad! And speaking of Rin, both Rin and Irisviel WERE THE CUTEST THINGS EVER ;_; And little Sakura-chan!!! Nuuuuu T__T !!!
My favourite servants are Gilgamesh (apparently I'm really weak to the Archer class XD) and Iskander of AWESOME ;o;
Speaking of Iskander, I MUST CONFESS YOU THAT I CAME DURING EPISODE 11.
That episode was fudging EPIC. AND. AWESOME. Fullstop.
Oh, and BTW, let me a little fangirly dissertation over the guys showing up among Ionioi Hetairoi >D
The characters showing up in Iskander's army are probably guys related to his life <3

Pretty boy with a Golden Armor.
He showed up for first and he's warped by a Golden Light of Love, so I assumed that he's Alexander's bestest friend/lover >3> !
Hephaestion died earlier than Alexander, so this may explain why he looks a bit younger than the other warriors-- But the fact that he's so "hiden" among other warriors makes one wonder.

At first I thought that he could be Ptolemy, but the obscureness of the subject made prefer Perdiccas over him-- But now, considering his dark hair and gloomy features, he may as well be Cleitus--But since Cleitus betrayed him, maybe it's be better to see Perdiccas as a part of his eternal army..?
--Now that I think about it there's also Antigonus >3> ...

I don't hate Kiritsugu per se, but I definitely don't like him... his emo is tiresome and I think he just doesn't know how to appreciate what he has. Sola... omg, I truly loathe Sola. She is terrible. I understand that in part her actions are because she got caught up in Lancer's curse and so couldn't help but fall in love with him, but she doesn't even bother to achlnowledge Kayneth's real feelings for her, and even as an evil soulless manipulative person, she should at the very least do that. ;__; She reminds me of a selfish teenaged girl who thinks that the whole world should bow down and admire her ~~tragic and deep feelings~~ but doesn't even pretend to respect the affections and allegiances of others.
Gilgamesh is just too grand for me to ship him with Kirei romantically, but sexually? Where Gilgamesh is totally using Kirei and sexes him up 1) because Kirei amuses him, and 2) because it's an excellent way to fuck around with Kirei? Sign me up! Kirei isn't my top favorite character, but I definitely respect him for being honest about his... kind of, lack of scruples. I also think his angst is adorable so I'm happy whenever he's on the screen.
MY top favorite character has got to be Iskander. He is AMAZING and I AGREE WITH ALL OF HIS PRINCIPLES and think he is MAGNIFICENT and ADORABLE and HILARIOUS.
Your fangirl dissertation on the Ionioi Hetairoi is wonderful, btw. XD I DON'T KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT THAT PART OF HISTORY TO SAY IF YOU ARE RIGHT, BUT I AM SURE YOU ARE!!!

Oh, thank you for the link ;o; I didn't know that there was a novel out of Fate XD ? The only one I knew about was Fake/States Night and it was as awesome as WTF (in a good way!) XD
Mhhh, now I'm tempted to read it too ;o; I've already spoilered myself thanks to TypeMoon Wikia, but I don't wanna know TOO MUCH, so I can enjoy season 2 ;o; !
But I know that things are going to end beautifully, TypeMoon never failed me!

Sola doesn't deserve any more words, but Kiritsugu, yeah, I hate him in a very bothering way >_< I'm quite tired by the merciless killer stereotype, and as much as I like him for plot reasons, I still dislike hiom as a characterization :/ His ways really piss me off!

What I am a little disappointed about is that we had near to zero fights. And when Caster seemed to be doing something interesting... It turned out it was tentacles again =_= But I still love his crazy monologues!
I don't see what you like in Kirei, though :O
I mean, he and Gilgamesh do have potential (well, it's more like Gilga can have pretty much anyone if he wants imho), but he's the most boringest character ever together with your hated Kiritsugu!! Even Tokiomi being ridiculous with his glass of red wine and not doing anything for the whole time was less MEH than them two XDDD
Everyone else I found was kinda cute. Lancer's back story was confusing and looked kinda lame, I'm hoping they're showing more next season!

I must tell you that half of my disappointment in Kiritsugu and Tokiomi comes because of their children :/ Rin is just awesome, so I was expecting a hot-blooded dad XD and Shiro is so cute and righteous, so I was expecting anything but a bishie version of Golgo as his father :/

I liked Kirei because HE'S EVIL XD And since he's so detached and aparently "pure" it makes it extra interesting!!
then I must tell you that the interaction with Gilgamesh (OF COURSE GILGAMESH CAN HAVE EVERYONE. In canon he has a crush on Saber, but I decided to ignore it, just like Saber does/did XD) greatly helped me in the enjoyment of Kirei's personality :DDD I spoiled myself a bit on the Wiki, AND I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THAT STUFF ANIMATED *___* !
Ahah, Caster & Ryuunosuke (or how the hell his name was) were as creepy as lol-inducing XDD For a moment I thought that Caster was going to kill Ryu, fortunately he didn't XD I like their scary partnership XDD

Well, Lancer's backstory is lame 'cause it comes from Celtic's mithology. English stuff is all about smex and betrayals XDDD

about Lancerout of the second season I might watch it |DRe: Cleitus. Well he was pretty loyal and a good friend until Alex started to (let's admit it) get a little too crazy about marching into deserts, but that is the point. If we look it with a romance eye, Cleitus fought with Alex because he didn't understand his dream of grandness and conquering all the world until the army reached its end, so it's weird that he'd follow anime!Iskandar, who dreamt about reaching the sea... Then again, Cleitus was just a good general: the wellness and morale of your troops comes always first IMHO.

The onlt recurring Servant is Saber, and you got a bit of Gilgamesh in the movie of Stay Night (which was fucking awesome). --I don't remember if he showed up in Stay Night anime too, but it's probable XD
About Alex an his Army of Awesome, YEAH, I'd gladly watch a 50 episodes series about them ;___;
It'd be particularly COOL because every guy is an independent Servant, so it'd be possible that each Mage could evoke one singularly, and they should fight against each other-- What a wonderfully dramatic scenario ;o; !!!!
