Day #6 - Favourite Jinchuuriki
On appearance alone, I could say that my favourite is Han, but I wanna be a serious person, so I'll go with Gaara.
I must say that I really dislike his former self. Psycho kids rarely have my sympathy, and I didn't like his design either, he looked like some ugly sickly goblin ;_; I wasn't even particularly moved by his backstory, also if it explained quite well his murderous tendencies.
Though, I completely changed my idea about him when I saw him all grown up, valuing friendship and trying his best to protect his village.
He was awesome during his fight against Deidara, adorable when he met Naruto and I kinda whined when he was thought dead.
To have a jinchuuriki as a Kage was an awesome idea, and I loved how everyone cheered on Gaara and loved him ;_; <3 AH, ALL THANKS TO UZUMANITY!!
--I assume that I like him so much because of how he developed his personality, how he managed to find the strenght to open himself to others again, how he finally faced the fact that he could be hurt, but that sorrow is not a good reason to inflict pain on others... How he decided to fill his emptiness with duty and responsibility without turning into a cold-hearted bureaucrat. So, yeah.
The last arc, when he faced his father, was kinda pathetic, but I like how everyone actually loved him, expecially his mother ;__; <3 And I was also ecstatic about the blind devotion of Yashamaru to Gaara's dad, but that's another issue, LOL
I really appreciated this cute revelation about his past and how his father managed to reconcile with him-- After all, it was quite unreal that a mother who hated her son would name him "ææįž " and squeeze all those cute kanji into a word ^_^;
