I got to know Togainu no Chi because of the game, but I never played it :D So when the anime was out I ran to watch it ^_^ Usually adaptations of eroges follow the original story but without the naughty parts :3 So the story is pretty much the same∼ I noticed that the anime is listed as shounen-ai, so everything would probably be kept subtexty x3
