He's cute and all, but idk...he's just so useless. How could someone go through basic training like he's supposed to have done and still be so completely useless? He's just dead weight around Akira's neck, and with stakes as high as they are in the Igura, that's not really something Akira needs. I'm pretty sure Shiki is the main love interest, but I've only read the first three volumes (the fourth wasn't out yet when my roommate and I parted ways) so I'm not 100% sure. Shiki is awesome, though! He's got that badass katana and coat, what's not to love?
I don't think it's so bad. ;) At least Akira lives, until like Kiriwar's ending. That guy plays too hard. XD
