So, today I'm off from work and this morning I profitted to go out to take a few pictures to fit today's theme.
I'm happy that I can turn this photography challenge into an excuse to get out of my dark otaku room-- So, YEAH è_é/
As I expected, yesterday and today there was no sign of any storm as the weather forecast made us believe, so-- Well, it's better like this isn't it? Let's enjoy this sunny (but windy) Saturday morning!
Day #4 - Something Green

--Don't you find my sense of humor and veiled polemic quite witty..?
This shot aside, today I went out with the strong motivation to take pictures of cute insects and animals.
You know when you want to do something and you expect it to happen no matter what? That's the kind of person I am. And when things don't go as I want them to-- WELL, I shift my attention to what I find thinking that that's what I was actually expecting to get XD
So, while struggling to take pictures of cute insects and animals in a green context for the theme, I entertained myself with extra shots for your viewing pleasure :D

This was for the "Something Green" theme... I like the various hues of green and the-- threatening plants around here XD

Snails are a cute subject!! First of all, they make the nicest compositions, and most importantly-- Unlike the other animals they can keep their pose :D

I--I stumbled upon this and my expression turned into a massive D: of horror, tragedy, sadness and surprise.
W-What a shitty way to die?!! Then, thinking about the dynamics I started to LOL at myself (ok, I'm a monster)-- Probably the smartass sparrow didn't notice the wire (considering how fast these little things fly) and just-- crashed into it.
--C'mon, it's quite a ridiculous way to die!
I called this picture "Shit happens".

Another cool subjects are flies. They are so stupid that it takes a while for them to notice you, so you can take pictures of them easily XD
This one was resting over an agave leaf. Agaves are fucking cool.

Another shot for "Something Green". I called this picture "Something Greener".
Agave ♥

More snails! Over one of the greenest plants around XD
I'm always shocked to see so much green on-- You know, OCTOBER.

More typical vegetation.

My favourite flowers, thistles!
Very cool, they withered in a weird way, and it looked like a scuplture on top of a plant--
So, at this point I was kinda bothered by the lack of living, cool subjects and I decided that I wanted to take pictures of lizards. Stupid lizards, apparently, don't like walking around in the morning. And the few that I managed to spot rushed instantly away, those fucking scaredy critters.
After all, since I'm taking these with a cheap compact camera, I can't get cool pictures of living animals from an adequate distance-- I should get at least 50 cms close to them, and of course lizards (and every living being around, but snails and stupid flies) would run away if something big and dark as a Dae would try to get that close...
...It was frustrating. So at a certain point I started to kick the bushes to get the little bitches out.
(I realize that it's not such a smart thing to do-- BUT IT WAS FOR ART, YANNO?! ART!)
Then, a little miracle happened:

I MET A FUCKING DRAGONFLY!!!
I WON!! I FUCKING WON!!!!
Obviously the thingie ran away as I tried to get closed, but it was probably so lazy due to the upcoming seasonal death that I managed to keep it close enough to me-- And I also got on my knees, so to look less big and threatening.

This is the closest I could keep it on focus.
Consider that it was windy too, so the fucking thing kept moving Dx !!

It switched position and started to glare at me. LOL, DRAGONFLIES ARE NOW MY FAVOURITEST ANIMALS :D <3<3
So, yeah. Screw you, stupid lizards.
