I think that stuff like Escaflowne and the second series of Rayearth did WAY A MUCH BETTER JOB than Aquarion on carving their own little niche in mecha ò_o
In my opinion, the only cool thing about Aquarion is that the mecha combined in different ways, but Getter Robot did that already in 1974...
...But I see that it's your fangirl's "gut feelings" making you talk XD ! It's my prerogative when I talk about certain series that I like too, and I know that there's no way to let your guard down here XD !
