I was quite amused by many secondary characters, as usual XD For example, The Hound. Daenerys was cute, too. I was amused by Stannis. I also liked the Greyjoy's INSTANTLY XD And Arya was fun, too! --Then yeah, I don't remember anyone else interesting in first season XD For the most of time, I admit that I kept watching looking forward to the just death of those characters that I hated, or to see what happened to those I liked. Obviously the author trolled me. He kept doing in in this book I found that should cover season 4, but at least I had the satisfaction to see some bastard Lannisters die XD
but such a mixture of mostly low fantasy with some pretty big high fantasy elements simply doesn't work for me. Well, that's your problem XDD Dragons, direwolves and giants are FUCKING COOL, man x'DDD --Zombies are a little less. At that point I was thinking "This guy is trying too hard" x'DD
If a wall is said to be 800 feet tall but it looks more like 20 metres, then either somebody fucked up pretty hard, or they were using cat feet as a basis for their measurement units. I like how this point is so vital to you XD You had to be really bored if you had to time to mind the proportions of such things. Look, if you look closely at the "throne of swords", you may notice that the swords close to the armrests are quite tinier than the others on the seatback... HOW CAN YOU TOLLERATE THAT?!!! IS IT A THRONE MADE OF SWORDS OR KNIVES?!!! IT'S NO SENSE!!!! <-passionate sarcasm x'D (anyway, I laughed at the scene of the "golden crown" too XD I just assumed that in the book it was rendered differently, but the TV rendition had its timing and it came out like that-- For example, I was also bothered by the fact than when Daenerys rose from the ashes she still had her hair-- those were supposed to be burnt by the fire!)
