Hellsing is the fandom that keeps on giving. You can forget about it for a year or two, then come back and it's as strong as ever - if not more so! [And, really, you can't go wrong with Nazi vampires. Or insanely bad ass Catholics. Or secret English organizations that are ready to search and destroy all unlife at the drop of a hat.]
I don't know if there are any Italian scanlation groups out there, but http://www.maximum7.com/ (http://www.maximum7.com/) does try to keep up to date with the English translations as the new chapters come out in Japan every few weeks to a few months to.. well whenever they come out. >.>
