Claymore's End Impressions

So, Claymore is the first series I'm watching that came to an end (well, according the fansubs X'D).
I must say, it's not the best ending ever, but I find it appropriate: it doesn't try to give definitive answers or such, which can be bothering since its integrity as a series, but at least it doesn't try to mess up with the manga, leaving to the fans the option to know more about Clare's adventures via manga.
. I like Raki. Other fans are just pointing out at every episode how lame and pathetic he is.
I like him like that.
It's nice to see a weak character in a series filled with badasses.
Personally I hope he'll get busy with Clare XD They are so cute together ♥
. I loved that fact that Clare didn't turn back as a human being thanks to Raki's hug but with Jeane's help. It had this "Paying my debts back" amusing vibe that I really appreciated.
I've been sad that yoma!Clare tried to kill Raki, though, also if it made sense.
. I don't think that there's going to be a second series, despite the lack of answers and resolutions.
. I'm happy that Miria, Deneve and Helen survived. WEEEEH XD !
. I'm also happy that Clare didn't kill Priscilla in the end.
Everyone hates also Priscilla XD I like her, she's an interesting character. And Isley is so cute with her <3 I wonder if they have some kind of brother/sister relationship... I bet that Isley decided to became a Claymore because a yoma killed his little sister, LOL
. --Why I have this bothering imagery of Isley molesting Raki? Raki didn't know that this was the kind of "swordmanship" Isley was referring too D:
What about you, my Claymore-oriented f-list--?
--Ah, just so you know--
I updated my DeviantART account with the last pictures I did; they include Claymore, Gurren Lagann and Fullmetal Alchemist stuff.
I posted there also two Aide's fanarts that I'm not confident to post on y!G because of the furry contents-- I know that people are posting him around since ages-- But I bet that if I'll post him I'll get a ban XD
You can check 'em here over
gurren_lagann too.

Date: 27/9/07 00:41 (UTC)This anime makes me want to read its manga version. There are very, very few anime that make me do that. The last time was when I watched FMA.
And if the comments on RC.com are true, a second season has already been given the green light. But we'll have to wait a very long time for it because I'm sure they'll want as much of its manga done so they'll have something to work with for season #2.

Date: 27/9/07 16:44 (UTC)I always try to read the manga versions of the animes I like but usually I'm unhappy with the contents-- The only manga I preferred over its animated version 'til now has been Hellsing (I also liked Death Note's, but I found the anime ending equally acceptable).
I wanted to read Claymore manga since its first publishing here but I lacked of money XD So I decided to watch the manga to get an idea of the contents-- Are you reading it via scanlations? Where do you find them..?
I think that a second season is improbable: maybe they'll get out an OVA.
