Anyway! Do you think that buying Gundam Seed is worth my money..? I can grab the complete Japanese DVD collection with English subtitles in a comic-shop here but I'm a little afraid that I won't like it.
Is someone familiar with Gundam series? I enjoyed the first series (Mobile Suit Gundam) but I really disliked Gundam Wing and Gundam 00... I think I'd like it if it's something like Code Geass R2 (you know, with interesting characters and an actual plot --And lots of characters dying in the process XD)... Could anyone on my f-list give me any suggestion/review..?

I stopped at episode 8... I dropped Wing around episode 20something, but just because I hoped it would get interesting...

Well, it gets a lot better after that. 8 is pretty much the lowest point before it starts getting really good. It's just really slow to start, and takes a while to set the scene. I'm not going to badger you into watching it, but it does get a lot better, honest. If you've got the time, I'd definitely say try and persevere.

I don't know, everyone I spoke to about Gundam Seed were quite impressed with it and told me it's a must-see - both plot and character-wise. I've yet to see it myself, though, since I'm put off by the childish-looking designs. ^^ [Somehow, designs became quite an issue for me here... and I thought I was okay after Kaiji... Haha XD]

Oh, you watch Kamen Rider Den-ou? *_* It's such a great series XD I've got, like, about ten episodes left, but I keep saving them... don't wanna let go of the characters just yet. XD

German bands = yaoiness? Kind of scares me that there are so many wanting to write slash about real people and even incest stories. Why does this scare me? Because me and my bro discussed it and realized that if/when we get famous people are gonna slash US if we're unlucky. The mere thought... TEH HORROR!! *claws eyes out and cries*

Same here, I never liked slash for this reason-- And the funny thing is that slash fans treat us yaoi fans as if we're crazy perverts... I mean-- JIMMY PAGE PORN? WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU-?!!

Oh, don't worry, they got slashed because they offer themselves as slashable to their audience. --Personally I find all of them kinda ugly.
