FAILING AT TECHNICAL EXPECTATIONS--

So, I'm working on a old commission; it's a group pic of eight characters, which obviously didn't fit a sheet.
I asked to yuuko_uchiha (aka the commissioner) if it was ok for the characters to be "cut" like that and she said it was fine but, yeah, it was UNACCEPTABLE for me.
So, I added two tiny pieces of extra paper and made Genma and Kisame's bodies whole.


I was very proud of myself, then I moved to scan the pic-- And I realized that my scan is set on a A4 format.


Tonight Dae got another hard technical lesson.

Hey, be grateful you don't have something like this. XD

Can't you simply scan the image twice, moving the sheet of paper a bit to scan the extra pieces, and then merge it in PS?

oh yeah! XD that has happened to me... I go all happy to scan something only to realize the scanner ain't big enough
