--So, we got eliminated on the first turn of the WorldCup D:
Actually, in my country, we're not surprised at all XD

We tend to live football events with a certain ammount of passion, but we were never so sure of the coach's choices; Lippi is famous for his shitty picks; he coached Juventus for a long time, so the most of his players came from this team, that, if once ago was pretty strong and famous, this year sucked a big one, expecially for its shitty defense: of course Lippi picked the main players in the vital roles of defense, midfield and attackers from there and he never let on the field other capable players 'cause of his stubborness.

And that's the result :/
I mean, guys-- We scored even with freakin' NEW ZEALAND. How pathetic was that?!!
And did you see the goals that other teams scored against us? Stuff on the level of kids playing in parks!

Well, at least we're not as devasted as French guys are XD
Let's be hopeful for a better performance next time ;3;

Then now-- Who should I cheer for? I think that I'll go with the other European teams-- My favourite will be Spain, I guess :3
--I have the feeling that Argentina will get the cup, though XD

(Everyone would do, "as long as it's not Germany". LOL XD)

I don't think anyone is as devastated as the French! England scaped through, but it was no way spectacular. I don't expect us to go much further but I have to support the team anyway and try to be optimistic. ;)

Seriously! For a tiny bit I also felt sorry for them ò_o
Yeah, it's a weird WorldCup, those usually considered strong got their ass served to much less impressive teams... And many new teams made throught it, just look at the USA, Chile or Ghana ò_o
Well, let's hope that it'll get more exciting now!

It certainly is a weird and surprising event thus far, and I really wonder if it's anything to do with the curse of the vuvuzelas. ^^;
I'm pretty sure England will be smashed by the Germans, having seen how they played. =_=;;
Oh! And the 10hrs tennis match in Wimbledon! That's insane! @_@

Poor vuvuzelas XD Everyone hate those!!!
(And I can see why XD)

Between England and Germany I really don't know who to cheer for! ...Maybe England? I really can't stand German football fans >_>;;; But English are equally the worst! ||OTL ..Ok, I'll just ignore them equally XD

Yeah, I heard about that in the news!!! Just-- How did they manage that D: ?

You must cheer for England of course, because I live here and I want to be surrounded by happy people and not sad and moody people!

--But England has Capello!
As an AS Roma fan I can't help but hate Capello D: ! ...Seeing Capello getting lynched by Englishmen would be an amusing view *_*

The vuvuzelas did disturb me at first, but then you just get use to it. Although a TV station here has offered to screen the match and nullify the sound.

lol! Yeah, English fans are't a bunch that I can back. XD;

I think in tennis matches you have a lot of breaks in between and it was spread over 3 days. Unfortunately, for the man who won, he crashed out of the next match, considered to be the shortest match in the year so far. ^^; Poor fella was exhausted from his first match.

I think that what is actually deplorable is that the sound of vuvuzelas is spreaded by loudspeakers, not actual people.
Nobody would protest too much if it was just people having noisy fun.

Yeah, this way makes sense XD I can't see a human being playing for 11 hours straight!
X'D Noooo!

I'm happy for Mexico!
I mean, I'm glad to see so many South-American nations, 'cause their soccer is indeed the nicer to look at ^_^

..Yeah, rgentina is really up for some kick-assin' ;_;
Good luck with it!

You only lost by one point - some two weeks ago Poland lost to Spain 0:6. Now that's something to be pissed off about. :D

We lost by one point, but did you see how our opponents played? Ok, Paraguay was fast; New Zealand's players were tall-- But WTF against Slovacchia, they played like fucking kids!
I hope they'll get eliminated in the next rounds >_> ...GO HOLLAND! GO JAPAN!!

I was really cheering for you guys today. I thought that one "goal" that was called back was mighty sketchy though. On the replay, it looked like it crossed the line and bounced off the goalie's knee.

But with the French? I have no words.

Date: 25/6/10 14:20 (UTC)
From: [identity profile] tomoe-daeva.livejournal.com
Yeah, that goal was valid, but that's not the point. The point is that we played shitty football in our matches but for the last 20 minutes of this last one... So we got what we deserved.
You can't go on with predictions, concurrences or superstition: you have to play football!

French = Drama.
I mean, a President having a meeting with the captain to discuss about this? They really have stupid things to worry about ò_o

Credo che i giocatori avranno modo di redimersi nei prossimi tornei-- Mi dispiace per Gattuso, questo è stato il suo ultimo mondiale in azzurro ;_;
