So, after the terrible failure of Ancien Régime project I decided to finally move my ass and work on my stuff for Foolish People.
This post is a little update on my improvements, and I hope it'll turn also into a place where other members can share their stuff and, why not, maybe enroll further volunteers :D ?

I FUCKING HATE DRAWING TATAMI.

--This said, let's have a look at the stuff :D
This is a tiny Itachi candyshot from Tengu, the Madara & Itachi story.
It's a mini two pages thing that I felt like drawing to add some mystery to the pairing >3
Its spin-off is this illustration of mine, and also features some vague subtexts about The Intruder, a tiny and dirty Madara/Fugaku thinglet that I wrote time ago ;D
And no, Itachi-chan is not stoned. Don't destroy my artistic self-esteem by saying it Dx !! (since I KNOW that you're thinking it ALREADY!)

This is from Expected Outcomes, the Fugaku/Mikoto story :3
Contrary to my previous project this ended up becoming a tiny 6 pages long comiclet... I wanted to make it long, angsty and deep, in the end I just cut the cool stuff out and presented you a tiny portrait of a kind, but demanding woman and a serious, but insecure man, playing with what we don't see on screen but can feel when dealing with married anime couples-- I also tried to play with some so-called "flaws" of Kishimoto stories-- Like the male characters being war-focused and the female characters being "forced" to turn into housewives once married...
Sometimes I really got to think that conformity is underrated...

Shameful Artist's moment: why I can't draw people in cool perspectives too ;_; ?!!

So, right now I can proudly say that I'm done with 2 out of three comics ù_u
In the end I decided to add a Itachi&Sasuke story, 'cause the two brothers definitely need more visibility XD I was bunnied with some kind of Nabari no Ou crossover-- Eheheheh...
If I have time I was also thinking of some illustrations for minor characters, like Kagami or Shisui... I'll see :3

Stay in touch for further updates ^_^
crossposted over a few places for pimpin' purposes :3

Nice~
I wish I could ink like that ;__;
I'm curious... what's the pen you use for inking? *can't see well*

*hugs you ♥*

Thank you! Well, I actually pretty much suck at inking D': B-But I'm trying to improve!!

As for the pens, right now I'm using this (http://images.icecat.biz/img/norm/high/3917434-5517.jpg), but the one on the pic is this one (http://english.fila.it/media/2971/800301_TRATTO_PEN_BIG.jpg) :3
The first is cool china ink-based, the second is a classic marker water based-type... I tend to use the first for the outlining and details and the second when I want to darken certain areas...
In the picture I'm using the second for the details 'cause the cool pen is running out of ink, LOL XD

It looks fine to me, but one always seeks to improve :D Good luck~ ('specially with the tatami >x<)

Oh, I see... I use refillable fine markers (not sure of the name; first language is not English xD) like these (https://www.penfountain.co.uk/images/Staedtler%20Graphic.jpg). Had to buy them for a course at uni, but never again used them =="
I'll need to trace my pics to a better quality paper before inking OTL

Thank you for your encouragement ;3;

Oh, yes, I know those :D I used those when I was in Art School (=High School) ^_^ But they didn't look like a cheap alternative to common liners XD
Oh, I use cheap paper for copies :D It gets really terrible when you draw over and over it ^_^;;; But again, I'm too miser to buy better paper anyway >3> Expecially considering how much I use it!

You think you have it bad with the tatami? I'm trying to model a chess knight in Blender and it feels like doing a brain surgery in boxing gloves, while jumping on a pogo stick. XD

Still, I'd like that reality could provide you with a nice cloning brush XD

:D I thought u inked digitally!
Actually happy to see you take it manually, because I really dislike drawing on a tablet *has not gotten use to the spatial difference* X3

You know, I would love to ink digitally, 'cause it looks easier and prettier! B-But I can't do it at all ;_;
Plus, staring excessively at the screen makes my eyes bleed, so, at least I have a decent excuse to cover my digital artistic flaws x'D
