So, I added two other animes to my watching list, actually LEVEL E and Hourou Musuko.
The first one is kind of slice of life with aliens, making it look like some comedy with some action bits-- Aaah, I wanna go live in another little town too, and meet there a good-looking athletic boy as my neighbour ♥∼! The second pick was suggested by Forchy and it's actually FUCKING CUTE. It's about a boy and a girl in middle school having gender issues and their circle of friends... I hope it won't develop into something morbid and ecchi, but giving the general mood and pastel colors (OMG, those are really annoying to watch on streaming =_= *can't see anything*) I think that I shouls be safe--

Watching Starry Sky kinda refreshed my passion for zodiac stuff-- I decided to do a bit of research and I found a (apparently dead) website that described personalities based on both Chinese and Zodiac signs.
Your Dae (Rooster/Aries) is described like this:
"Blunt, yet witty, these Roosters speak in plain terms. They do not hold qualms about their feelings and don’t mind sharing their points of view. They are honest and trustworthy and expect the same of others, especially friends and family."
Well, it's kinda accurate D:

According to this thing Roosters are most compatible with Oxes-- I looked at Ox's years and looks like my best partner is a brat. --Or someone born in 1973. Kinda old D: but still in my range of action :D --Yeah, yeah, a Water Ox sounds like someone that I may like∼

Turning the page of my potential non-existant partners, as I probably told you here and there, I'm planning to attend YaoiCon this year, hopefully with a stand :3
So, I was thinking to bring, besides the obvious doujinshi, also some original project of sort.
I already planned some cute, 16 pages long artbook featuring the characters in Kalyana's universe, but I also wanted to bring some original manga of sort.
I saw that many authors release their webcomics for that, but I'd like to come with something new-- I have various ideas but I'd also like to hear your opinion about it.
What should I do? A sequel/spin-off of any of my webcomics (I already planned one about Sakurazo, focusing on Mitsubachi and Kaede's son), a book with various one-shots or a long story..? Slice of life, adventure, fantasy-- Something mainstream or something more peculiar and original..? Set in modern times, or during some historical period that you fancy, in Europe or in Japan..?
Let me hear your opinions, I could gladly use some feedback to make up my mind ^__^

Please watch Level E asap! It's by my childhood fav. Togashi Sensei who i'm loyally awaiting his resumption of Hunter X hunter. *cries* I love Hisoka and his pedophilic ways.

Have you watched detroit metal city? Lol its so wrong in all the right ways...very rude and very random. *high fives* For watching Jellyfish Princess :D.

I played Starry Sky, so the anime the way it presented it was odd to me. I didn't like it being broken up into the seasons XD I was hoping all 12 boys would be there to interact.

I hope you manage to find someone to share a stall with at Yaoi Con!~ Else it would be crappy to cover the costs for that table all by yourself.

Perhaps you should try an original one shot set in modern times? Or else go for something that you've never explored... As long as you have fun doing it instead of stressing out about accuracies~

I watched everything∼ I look forward to the next episodes ^o^
Ahahah x'D Hisoka did give those pedo vibes x'DDD

Yeeees, I watched and loved Detroit Metal City ;o; !!!! I loved it, LOL x'DDDD Expecially because when I was younger I was totally into that kind of music so I sympathized ;o; Ahah, poor protagonist just wanted to make pop music XDD
Kuragehime is absolute win. I hope there'll be a new season :/

Well, to have 12 boys interact would be a bit too much for the animators XD I must admit that I was afraid of getting more stupid romance crap, fortunately in this last Aquarius episode stuff was kept on a BL side too XD --Yes, as long as there's BL fanservice I'm happy with it, LOL XD

To find a stall-partner would be awesome, unfortunately I don't think that it's going to happen-- *is lonely ;_;*

Yes, I'm going to do weird things with the art-booklet thing :D It's going to be really fun, a mix of Medieval/Indian/Victorian stuff, slightly erotic >3> It's going to be fun ^_^
I have lots of ideas for oneshots XD --THEY MAY KILL ME SOMEDAY ;_;

Yes, it was kinda obvious considering all the planetary moving that we went throught--

*checks on the list* So I'd be a Pisces now... Ewwwwww D: ! *has nothing to do with her personality Dx*

People were talking about Level E on Facebook, I guess I'm also adding it to the anime list. @____@ And that other one, too!

I wish I could attend Yaoi-Con this year but it seems unlikely. I'm crossing my fingers for Fanime, even if it might be the ONLY convention I could make it to for this year. =.=

Your sign hasn't changed, it's all a big hoax. >.< I also heard about that on Facebook, but it isn't going to change that I will always be a Taurus!

It looks fun ^_^ I definitely have to watch more ;3;
The other one? Houryou Musuko..? It's just SO CUTE ;3; !!!

It would be nice if you could attend, looks like less and less people that I know go there anymore ;_; ...

I'll keep being an Aries too XD Mostly 'cause Pisces is my total opposite, OMG D':

Well, it's kinda accurate D:
It always is, seeing how horoscopes have to be vague and general enough to fit anyone reading them, at least partially. As a matter of fact, the bit you quoted fits be pretty well, even though I'm neither a Rooster, nor an Aries.

From: [identity profile] tomoe-daeva.livejournal.com
Yes? Then how is it that Pisces personality doesn't fit me at all :/ ?

I'm not one of those horoscope fanatics, but I like to think that, as many things are influences by the positions of stars, sun, the moon or peculiar seasons, so may be the personality of any being born during a certain astral condition :3 It's interesting!

An exception that proves the rule. :D

Interesting, perhaps, but false - to think that the positions of distant astronomical objects have any sort of bearing on our lives is downright absurd in its shameless anthropocentrism and quite frankly an insult to modern day knowledge. But let Richard talk about it for awhile (a short excerpt from a two-part documentary, which I should recommend while I'm at it).

Date: 14/1/11 18:37 (UTC)
From: [identity profile] tomoe-daeva.livejournal.com
I'm not going to watch a documentary in English with no subtitles on Youtube. That's it. XD

All that matters is that it's interesting :3 You know that planetes influences each others and everytime something incredible happens in the sky without us knowing. If everything generates from Big Bang, even the movements that regulates galaxies and their development, even the elements that compose us, if there are certain laws or rules that explain such reactions and schemes, then we're all more or less connected with everything and more or less influenced by everything.
Saying that it's false just because you don't wanna look a bit beyond your nose is downright absurd in its shameless anthopocentrism and quite frankly an insult to modern day knowledge :D

Then learn English more! XD Besides, it's not like they are speaking with a thick Cockney accent. XD

I wouldn't go that far regarding mutual planetary influences - it works on a local planet-satellite(s) level, but beyond that the distances are for the most part way too, excuse the pun, astronomical. Sure, you could say that everything is connected that way - after all, all the elements that we're composed of are the result of stellar nucleosynthesis - but connection doesn't equal influence; put simply, just because I have in my body a molecule that used to be in Julius Caesar's left ear doesn't mean I'm a natural born leader with a tendency for memorable quotations. XD

I'll leave looking at their own noses to people too short-sighted to encompass the broader spectrum of things. I already wear glasses, I don't need to develop strabismus too. XD

And now do excuse me, please - the time has come for a beer-film-and-chips evening with my friend. :D

Also, while I don't really "buy" astrology, it's fun when descriptions of my sign are accurate. When I was young, I used to think I was more like a Scorpio than a Sagittarius/Ophiuchus, and that the Tiger descriptions were off as well, but as I grow up I find that they are really just like me. This website you linked is interesting; Tiger nails me right on the head. Even Fire Tiger.

It even says I would be a great: Actor, Comedian, Chauffeur, Musician, Race Car Driver (!), Pilot, Artist, Writer. I AM/ENJOY ALL OF THESE THINGS (with the exception of pilot, but I would still fucking love that; I've just no experience in flying).

The Sagittarian Tiger doesn't really fit me; I'm not quite that mindlessly impulsive. But there is no descriptor for the Ophiuchan Tiger, which is what I really am, so whatever XD

Date: 14/1/11 22:28 (UTC)
From: [identity profile] tomoe-daeva.livejournal.com
Ah, the Ophiucus XD That's in Starry Sky too, LOL, so you're not going to get a daily horoscope but rejoice, you have a Japanese bishie for your sign XD
I think that if you merge some bits of the Ophiucus personality with some bits of the Tiger, that should be accurate enough-- I guess that's the same that those guys did anyway to come up with their description XD

Yes, it's fun when descriptions match yourself, isn't it ^_^ ? Then it's not that I'm just going to eat apricots or wear red 'cause that's my lucky stuff >_>; !

A)zodiaco occidentale: Coccomandrillo, ascendente Idra - zodiaco cinese: Pterodattilo
B)zodiaco occidentale: Tostapane, ascendente Minipimer - zodiaco cinese: Caffettiera
C)zodiaco occidentale: Pesci, ascendente Bilancia - zodiaco cinese: Capra

O no? :)
Sciau ;)

From: [identity profile] tomoe-daeva.livejournal.com

Belli ♥∼

I'm going to check out Level E, seems interesting. Not sure about Starry Sky thought, sure lots of bishes, but I'm afraid there would be too much romance crap and I'm wary of male-harems where every chara is in love with the main heroine (who is usually a complete idiot) >_>

OH MY FRIEND, HOW MUCH I UNDERSTAND YOU >_>; And you can't say that you hate those useless female characters otherwise it looks like you hate women in general and you're just there for the manporn. Fotunately the main heroine is easily ignorable.
The first two episodes (Capricorn) were terrible, the story just didn't make sense XD the next ones (Aquarius) were nicer, expecially because it suggests sagittarius/Aquarius and Aries/Aquarius :D
