Ugh, I'm writing after a 'culinary battle' between me, Teap and a 'Japanese' restaurant close by-- I'm so full and exhausted that I just want to go to sleep NAU x'D

Day #11 - Most Annoying Male Character
I guess it'd be Orochimaru... I actually started to read Naruto because of him (I really liked him and I wanted to know who I should pair him up with XD) and he's been one of my favourite characters for a long time, but I must say that I find really annoying how he virtually NEVER DIES and THE WAY HE THROWS/VOMITS STUFF OUT OF HIS MOUTH IS QUITE DISGUSTING D':
Still, it's not that I hate good ol' Orochi, but if I have to think of a character whose appearances bother me to no end-- Well, that's him XD

...In the end I grew to pair Orochi with Kabuto.

Poi, ti dirò che nonostante Orochimaru non sia tra i miei preferiti per via proprio del suo disgustoso "vizio" di vomitare qualsiasi cosa (serpenti e spade per lo più XD), c'è un personaggio che lo batte decisamente...Kabuto penserai e invece no...il personaggio maschile che più mi irrita è Hidan >_< Shikamaru ha avuto tutto il mio tifo durante lo scontro tra i due XD

Ahah XD Non ho mai considerato Hidan irritante, specialmente perchè l'ho sempre considerato "in coppia" con Kakuzu, e visto che Kakuzu mi piace da morire li ho sempre visti come un'adorabile coppia sposata XD

Kabuto I dislike more than Orochimaru, especially these last 20 - 30 chapters.

His 'ressurection' jutsu, is a huge plothole waiting to be furiously backed out of my Kishimoto. Or "deus ex machina"-ed.

And he wants our pretty Sasuke, for reasons unknown. The only theory I've been up to come up with, is an unpleasent ending for Sasuke for a variety of purposes.

I like Kabuto, I approve of his maniacal obsession on Orochi XD
He's also a pretty good ninja... I like to think of him as the nemesis of Itachi, his exact opposite, and I find him fascinating. --I really hope to see Itachi vs Kabuto ASAP :D

I don't think that the resurrection jutsu is a plothole on its own right XD
Why do you think so?
I mean, Edo Tensei is not more Mary-Sue-ish than Itachi's Susano'o, if you think about it :/ !

he wants Sasuke to get his eyes, obviously. He's pursuing Orochi's wish to learn all ninjutsu.

Edo Tensei requires the DNA of the person to be brought back from the dead.

How was Kabuto able to find the DNA of all the people? Ones Madara wouldn't have wanted to get back out? Like Pain/Nagato? Probably wouldn't want Itachi out again, either in my opinion.

The only reason he wasn't able to bring back some of them, is because they were eaten by the Death God, preventing their souls from going to the Pure World.

And if he was able to Pain/Nagato's DNA, why not Konan's? Unless she is the person in the box that Madara feared. But Madara was not afraid of her before, so why now? Unless the person in the box is his brother, who has been dead for many years and should not have any DNA left alive to use. Or Shisui? Who suddenly had quite a powerful Sharingan. Maybe Kushina? But why didn't he bring her out before then?

This may not be complete plot holes, but I think Kishimoto has so much going on, he's not going to get around to the back story of how Kabuto managed it... considering some of the places he managed to steal DNA from, were important sites to entire villages of shinobi, I would feel it a plot hole, if they weren't explained at the end of the story.

(Aside to all that, I think I dislike Kabuto, because Kishimoto can't seem to let characters go, Kabuto keeps coming back and he is more arrogant than ever. Sasuke and Madara's arrogance's are desperate belief in something driving you, to feel you are right, always. And self assured almost immortality of your own self, respectively.

Naruto's arrogance comes more from bravado and self-psyching. And the Raikage, as a final example, showed humility and understanding when the time came, but has much pride controlling his personality. Maybe I don't Kabuto, because he's not human enough? Maybe I want to dissociate from him because I can't connect in anyway? Though, I can understand his plight of being crazy obsessed with Orochimaru, so much so he's doing a lot of dangerous things in his old masters name.)

I wouldn't call that a flashback, and I don't think that Kishimoto is ever going to show us HOW Kabuto got Pain or whoever's DNA... I mean, he's a ninja, and a pretty sneaky one. In my opinion he could have revived the Sage of the Six paths and I would find it perfectly plausible XD

Actually, I'm glad that Kabuto is back-- When I saw him disappear during the Itachi vs Sasuke arc I wondered what he was up too, 'cause I never thought that he would let Sasuke going unpunished after killing off his master... I was a bit disgusted by his monster-like shape too D: But that's probably to symbolize his crazy obsession with Orochi... But I don't think that Orochi would appreciate that ugly appearance XD

The vomiting stuff out of his mouth is a definite turn off. He was one of my favorite characters for quite a while. Despite the annoying constant saying of "I must have Sasuke-kun's body!" I myself am an OroKabu shipper, partly due to some amazing fanfic writers doing a great job with characterization. I like him more in fanon than canon.

Also, I have to picspam - I commissioned a friend to draw this when I was obsessed



and she sketched this on the back, and I photocopied, inked, and watercolored it. Because I can't draw worth crap but sometimes I pretend I can color. Hahahah yeah right)

Oh, also, as for the never dying thing... That's like his purpose in life, to never die, and Kabuto continued the trend by absorbing his arm or whatever medical jutsu he did to become Kabutorochimaru.

I really don't know who my "most annoying male character" is...

I disliked both Orochimaru and Kabuto, anyway.

I don't really hate Orochi, I just don't like him XD
I don't think that there's a character that I actually hate in Naruto D: --I hate Sasuke/Sakura, yeah, but that's a pairing, I like the characters separately XD
