So, yesterday morning I decided to go to EUR for the hanami!
And guess what? IT WAS TOO EARLY =_=

Anyway, since I was there, delicious meal included, I could as well take a few pictures as refs and ispirations for my Tra i Fiori webcomic :3 !

--The young cherries were full-blooming indeed, but the old, prettier ones were still asleep :/
As far as the stupid webpage that I'm keeping an eye on for updates says that the full-bloom may happen around Easter time I was considering to take it another peek, but my home situation is still so unbelievably crappy, and the weather is so fucked up, I don't know if I can manage another trip T_T; I hope so, thought!

Anyway, here are a few shots:

As I told you I had a delicious lunch <3 I bought my favourite supplì snack, then paprika-flavoured Pringles and two raw carrots to munch (yummy!)-- Of course I brought a beer as a drink :3

This was the view from my spot, LOL XD After all there was no stuff to see in the first place, I opted for a spot far away from noisy people ù_u

It was a nice spot because, as I noticed later, it was filled with cute hooded crows:

One of these cuties came to look for food around my spot-- SO CUTE ToT !!!
I tried to throw it a Pringle but it flew further away ._. I guess they are used to people throwing stuff at them to hurt them T_T; SHE DIDN'T EAT MY PRINGLE AT ALL T3T; ..!

Anyway, a few seconds later she started to call for his friends, yanno? Doing all the "cra-cra" thing, yanno?!!! I WAS ECSTATIC! --It took me a while to take a decent pic >_< !

His friends came a few minutes later <3 HOW CUTE T_T; !

And now a few pictures about these cuties 'cause, yeah, I'm monothematic like this.

--After all I was dressed up like a "hoodie" myself >3> ..!
...Anyway, after all this "birdwatching of sort", I decided to give Grigio's some "friends".
After all crows are birds that use to live in "communities", it'd be weird for Grigio to have no other friends in the same park.
--I EVEN TOOK PICTURES OF THE TREE THAT THE BOYS ARE GOING TO USE AS THEIR "BASE":
--It's very "crow-like", isn't it <3 ?

And in case you care, this is Mizume's sakura tree:
--It's on a slope XD

--And on the way home I got this tiny concert on the metro for free, LOL. Finally a group of beggars who could actually play their instruments..!

...And that's all for a useless, yet enjoyable, day outside!

So do I, but it's fun to know that certain things are the same from country to country. :)

As far as I can remember I've only seen local folks busking in trams, but there might be people from other places as well, who knows.

There are Roms and Romanians too, but you mostly see them begging near churches, open-air markets and such. I used to walk by one such market almost every day, several years ago, and every Tuesday and Friday I would see the same faces. Eventually I changed my route - and I ended up walking past a black guy giving out free newspapers every single day for a good couple of weeks at least. It's interesting, when you think about it - we are used to seeing the Gypsies and the Romanians begging in the streets, the Vietnamese selling merchandise in markets and the Chinese preparing food in Chinese bars, but seeing a black person in the street still feels exotic.

How about you? Are there Roms and Romanians in Rome? :D

There was an international bazaar held at the Bahraini elementary (I dunno why it's 'elementary' when it teaches grades K - 12) school last weekend.

I was surprised to see people from European countries like France, and even Asian countries like Japan. o_o I stopped by the Japanese booth and just chatted with the vendors (all women) about anime and manga when they were promoting the art of origami. X3

It's just, Bahrain is a tiny TINY desert island. Who would wanna come out here? XD I still would have preferred being stationed in Naples instead!

Well, quite a lot of countries have immigrants from poorer places doing crappy jobs nobody else wants. I think if you went to the UK you would still find at least some young Polish people washing the dishes in local pubs.

Oh come on, it's not THAT cold here! XD That black guy I mentioned didn't seem to mind it at all, even though it was the middle of winter. Just put on some warm clothes and you'll be fine. :D

Maybe the South Americans go to Spain to contemplate their roots, and since they're already there they might as well make a quick stop in Italy for a pizza? XD

You mean you've never sold scale models of Circus Maximus on your way to an ethnic restaurant? XD

I guess that means Mexicans have to work in Sri Lankan restaurants now. What is this world coming to? XD (BTW, I think "Ceylon" sounds much better than "Sri Lanka". Why did they have to change it?)

The Colosseum gets all the attention, let the Circus Maximus get some too! XD
