Upcoming Spring Anime Season (and a bit of Summer's)!

Here I am for our regular meeting about the upcoming Spring anime season!

It looks like it'll be a season with many interesting new titles!
As usual, you can spot all of them here :3

First of all, I can tell you that I'm going to follow Haikyuu! (01APR) (I can't believe that it's already getting an anime, so good *_* !!) and this Abarenbou Kishi!! Matsutarou (06APR)-- It's an anime about sumo!!! I HAVE TO WATCH IT!!! The world of sumo wrestling is so interesting and mysterious! I wanna know more *_* !! --I just hope that this series will get subbed XD
I think that these two will be the sport series that I'll follow, also if I confess you that I'm quite keen on following Ping Pong (30APR) too..! I'll probably check the first episode out anyway!

The next title that I'm pretty positive to follow will be glorious third season of JoJo (04APR) *___* !!!
Me and my Jojo-friends were really looking forward to it *_* What a Jojoyous event!!

Speaking of further anime genres, you know that I can't live without my mecha fix.
For this season I'm going to pick Break Blade (30APR), which is going to be my main series for this season:

I'm in love with the mecha design and the animation, I can't wait to watch it!
I also got to know that this series was already animated in movie format! I didn't know about it, but I'm glad that I didn't watch them, hopefully I could enjoy it the better ^_^

Another mecha series that intrigues me is M3 (30APR), which website is still covered in darkness.
I was checking out the staff working there to get an idea of what's going to offer, I noticed that the director took care of the storyboards of Evangelion 2.0, Z Gundam and the glorious Gundam 0080 - War in the Pocket, but I also noticed that he's the original creator of Tamayura and another load of moe crap so I wanna take it as a good omen...

Another must-watch is the new season of Mushishi (01MAY)! Gotta love your bug exorcist ♥ XD
I'm also intrigued by Sidonia no Kishi (TBA) (LOL MUSE), but I'm afraid of Nihei-- He's such a popular mangaka, as popular as his series are BORING TO HELL.
I'll probably give a peek at the first episode, if it's not a mute anime I'll gladly give it a try.

Also, did you hear the news about Sailor Moon anime?
It's confirmed that it'll be a full-fledged TV series, it'll air on July and it's going to recover the original first series!
On the official website you can spot an artwork featuring "the new" character design, and I love how faithful to the manga it is :D !!
It's going to be a beautiful series, and I like the idea of seeing the manga version on screen, I remember it being much more mature and intriguing than the anime's!

And so, this is what I'm going to watch-- What about you ^_^ ?

I've read about Sailor Moon yesterday on this site. I must say, it looks quite promising!

Yes, I'm very curious about it :D !!!

This 2014 is the year of many anniversaries, and I'm pretty interested in all of them!
Sailor Moon has a brand new pretty series that I really look forward to, now not it's certain that it's a full series and not some shitty ONA or movie, there are announcements coming for the 35th Anniversary of Gundam too, and a Saint Seiya CG movie announced to celebrate the 40th years of activity of its author!
--I just hope that all those cool things will find their way to our proper fruition :D !

We'll just have to wait and see, but it seems that for the Japanese anniversaries are serious business. XD I wonder if the new Sailor Moon series will feature the same seiyuu as the original, that would be a really nice treat. Also, it would be a huge nostalgia trip for us, old-time Polish fans, if the new series was available locally with narration byMrs Danuta Stachyra. ^^

I wonder about the seiyuu! That'd be quite nice indeed!

--But more on a "philologic" side than others, since I'm not really a fan of seiyuu and voice actors in the first place ^_^; !

I also don't care about the seiyuu all that much, but it still would be really nice to hear the familiar voices. Although some month ago, when I watched Armitage III with the Japanese soundtrack for the first time (I always watched it dubbed, because nostalgia), I thought that one of the characters screaming sounded familiar. I did a little digging and guess what - it was the same actress who voiced Shinji in NGE! XD

I'm sure quite a lot of people are. For many folks in my parts Sailor Moon was the first series that they knew it was an anime, myself included. We did have some anime on TV before (Daimos, Tiger Mask, Zorro, the classics), but it wasn't until Sailor Moon that we actually learned the word "anime" and what it means. Ah, good old times. :D

Many, if not most, of us thought they were Chinese, because hardly anyone could tell the difference between the two languages at the time. To this day "Chinese porno cartoons" is something of a popular meme among fans. :D

Voglio spezzare una lancia per Sidonia no Kishi, perché lo pubblicano su afternoon (e ogni mese tento di leggerlo senza capirci una mazza perché chissà da quanto è cominciato) e le pagine sono BELLISSIME. Il dialogo C'E'! Non è proprio fitto, eh, ma c'è! XD Sono perciò molto contenta che esce l'anime, così almeno capisco di che parla e posso leggere i capitoli XD

Ping Pong ha avuto anche un film, che mi è piaciuto tantissimo anche se adesso non mi ricordo praticamente niente. E' la storia di due amicicicici quindi credimi, è molto promettente su molti livelli XD

E POI HAIKYUUUUU SIIIIIIIIIIIIII

Il problema di Nihei è che fa questi disegni, fondali e personaggi fighi, ma sono tutti inespressivi e non parlano di niente XDDD <-i brutti ricordi di BLAME!
Però un'occhiata gliela dò volentieri, mi commuovo se ha imparato a scrivere dei dialoghi, e comunque il genere che fa mi piace molto ^^

Di Ping Pong guardavo i personaggi e li trovavo molto lolli, probabilmente sì, darò un'occhiata anche a lui *-*

Vabbè, ma quando ha scritto Blame sappiamo bene che non era in grado di disegnare manga. Non sapeva nemmeno disegnare le facce della gente, figuriamoci i dialoghi! XD Sidonia è diverso, sono molto molto curiosa!!

Si, quello coi capelli a fungo è un "personaggio" nel senso romano del termine XD Ma è quello il bello!!
