daeva_neesanSo, I was making some random shopping at the local Auchan, and while browsing absentmindedly along the books section, I stumbled upon this:
It's actually a pretty nice book compiled by the famous Stephen Turnbull, an authority when it comes to the study of samurai... I had the chance to check it out before reading it, and it's filled with curious anectodes and infos.
This is the Italian edition of Samurai Warriors, and I just paid 2 euros for it ^o^
--It was stupidly placed in the area dedicated to the cheap books for children, LOL!
The volume is enriched by some beautiful pictures and color illustrations by James Field... They are not such a great thing, but again, my only other reference of the same kind are the illustrations of Rue on the booklets dedicated to Takeda Shingen (saga of the Samurai), which were pretty much on the same tone.
Here's a spread dedicated to Nobunaga :D A detail is used on the cover art too!
There are a few errors but the book is pretty nice, I'm really happy that I got to find it XD ♥ !
