This interesting website was brought to my attention by fellow Nobulover Babi... There I found this questionnaire that the lovely Teap translated to me from Japanese and I translated it into English for your joy∼
Still, my English is pretty rough, so if you find errors or sentences that made no sense feel free to tell me in the comments and I'll fix them immediately!

Oh, speaking of "lost in translation", the original questionnaire uses old-fashioned Japanese to give it a "samurai vibe", but I can't really render that in English without sounding ridiculous or incomprehensible-- So I just used simple, modern English.

--I encourage all the Nobufans out here to share and answer ^o^/ !!

01. What is your nickname? Daeva
02. How old are you? Err...
03. Are you a man or a girl? A lovely girl, of course∼
04. Where are you from? Italy∼
05. What's your occupation? Security agent at FCO! ('til it lasts, LOL)
06. Since how long you're a supporter of Lord Nobunaga? It's a recent thing, it dates to 2009 circa.
07. How do you usually refer to Lord Nobunaga? I'm a bit ashamed, but I use "Nobu" or "NobuNobu" when I'm in a peculiar fangirl mode-- But I'll behave properly during this enquete and I'll refer to him as "Nobunaga-sama" XD
08. When did you first know about Lord Nobunaga? In 2009, exactly.
09. And how did you know about him? I watched the movie Band of Ninja by Oshima, since I'm a fan of the author Sanpei Shirato. While researching the historical characters making an appearance there, I got fascinated by the biography of Nobunaga-sama, and I start researching on him--
10. Which was your first impression of Lord Nobunaga? That of a ruthless yet cunning warlord.
11. When did you start to love Lord Nobunaga? As soon as I started to get to know him better through his biographical data.
I was extremely intrigued and charmed by his youth as a "kabukimono".
12. If there's an episode that made you fall in love with him, tell us. The fact that he liked to dance and sing as a female character from his favourite Noh pieces.
13. Tell us about your strong feelings (passion, fear, respect or love) for Lord Nobunaga. Mmh, more than those simple feelings, I'd say that what I feel for Nobunaga-sama is-- Inspiration.
I don't mean that I want to conquer the world or that I want to have him as a role model, but I find his life and behaviour extremely charming and inspiring-- The way he wasn't afraid by foreign cultures, his curiousity, his extreme modernity, his love for beautiful things and peaceful life... Those are all ingredients that stir something inside of me.
14. Which is Lord Nobunaga's best quality? His curiosity. The way he was intrigued by the new and how he never hesitated to confront himself with it.
15. Which is Lord Nobunaga worst flaw? His arrogance. To be honest it's actually one of his endearing characteristics to me XD but the way it came inbetween his judgement over some of his retainers sure hurted him in the long run. --Of course I'm talking about guys like Akechi.
16. What do you think is the secret of Lord Nobunaga's strenght? His audacity. He dared to do what others never ever considered.
17. And what about his soft spot? Sometimes I'm a bit bothered by his vanity. How he just focused on the flamboyant and tacky side of aestheticism.
18. Among all the annedoctes of Lord Nobunaga's life (historically accerted or not) tell us your favourite three.
1) When someone claimed the existence of a monster snake living in the pond of the Jaike temple, he first dove into the pound to look for it and when he didn't succeed he forced the villangers to dry the pound empty--
2) The dance while singing the verses of Atsumori play before going to his first huge battle, the one of Okehazama.
3) Some time after Azuchi castle was ccompleted, he ordered a light show where huge lanterns were hanged at the castle's donjon and the Sokenji temple and both villangers and soldiers were asked to do the same to their houses and roads, so that the whole castle and the city at its feet would look shiny and bright as it reflected in the waters around.
19. And why they are your favourites.
1) I love Nobunaga's kabukimono lifestyle and rowdy youth. This is probably the best scene where you could savour the quintessence of this pigheaded conqueror.
2) The image of a warrior singing about the transience of life before meeting death face to face is just beautiful.
3) It looks like it had to be a breathtaking scenery. Even if Nobunaga's tastes were quite over the top, I liked how he cared for these display of beauty, that turned also in a display of power.
20. And what about any that you're not fond of? I don't like all those that are blatantly false or exagerated and are there just to discredit his place in history.
The episode I hate the most is how it's told that he claimed himself a deity and ordered people to pay him tributes as a God. This just made no sense.
21. Is there an episode that make you think "Ooh, Lord Nobunaga, how cool you are!"? It may seem a bit tasteless, but I felt like this when I read about how he ordered to set fire to the Honganji temple and its quarters. Those priests were really growing a bit too much arrogant and bothering for my tastes.
22. Is there an episode that makes you think "Lord Nobunaga can be kind, too!"? The episodes connected with the life with Kitsuno. Besides the random act of generousity that he displayed every now and then and are documented here and there, I feel like he showed his kind disposition wholly and fully only to her ♥
23. Is there an episode that makes you think "This thing, and only this, I would have loved if Lord Nobunaga didn't it!"? The deal with the golden skulls of Azai and Asakura... That was a bit too much XD
24. Is there an episode that makes you think "Lord Nobunaga, how embarassing!"? I can't think of anything, to be honest XD
25. Is there an episode that makes you think "This is a posthumous invention!"? The self-deification thing! UGH, I CAN'T STAND IT!
26. Is there an episode that makes you think "I can't think about it without laughing!"? Shogun Yoshiaki referring to him as "father" x'DD
27. Is there an episode that makes you think "I can't talk about it without crying"? The death of Nobutada. If at least he survived the Oda Clan had some chance to survive T_T;
28. When did you think that Lord Nobunaga's aestheticism reached its climax? When he suggested to spare Matsunaga's life if he gave him his hiragumo tea kettle, ahahah! You may dislike its peculiar design, but the fact that Nobunaga placed that kettle before the loyalty of a retainer was sure an index of how high he held the fulfillment of his taste!
The fact that Matsunaga opted to kill himself and destroy the hiragumo in the process is quite self-explanatory.
29. What kind of clothes fit better to Lord Nobunaga? I love to see him in a light, simple yukata, one arm free from its sleeve as he train himself in archery *ç*
30. If Lord Nobunaga would be a colour, which one do you think he'd be? I'll be banal, but I'll go with red.
31. If Lord Nobunaga could be described by a kanji, which one do you think he'd be? 押 ("Ou") --It means "push", "shove", "stamp"... It gives an idea of the way he imposed himself to History.
32. If Hideyoshi is a monkey and Ieyasu is a tanuki, Nobunaga is..? A wolf. The leader of a pack.
33. What is your favourite battle of Lord Nobunaga? I'd say Okehazama.
34. Why? The passion, the danger, the recklessness and its importance were unique.
35. If you could pick one, which is your favourite period of Nobunaga's life? His youth. But I also like his Azuchi period, where he could savour the fruits of his power.
36. Which was the greatest danger that Nobunaga had to face in his life (besides Honnouji's)? Obviously, the continuous attempts to his life in his youth. The way he reacted and how he managed to deal with the issue in the next years felt like a miracle. --Even if a bit bloodstained.
37. Which is your favourite quote of Lord Nobunaga? There's one, that it's said he pronounced after praying for victory at Atsuta: "Ware tada taru o shiru", a pun on the kanji shown on the eiraku coin.
It's used to be translated as "I only know that I´m okay with what I got".
38. What is your favourite scene in Nobunaga's life, as depicted in novels or TV dramas..? The scene of the taiga drama King of ZIPANGU were a very young Nobunaga is shown running around with a kosode over his head-- It's obvious that he did so because he liked the colours of the robe but his father got pissed at him and bet him up because that was considered a feminine behaviour.
39. What is your favourite portrait or painting of Lord Nobunaga? The portrait by the Jesuit painter Giovanni Niccolò -- We can finally take a good look at his actual features!
40. Who is your favourite vassal of Lord Nobunaga's crew? I have a soft spot for Maeda Toshiie.
41. And what about the vassal you like the least? I'd say Akechi Mitsuhide because of Honnouji, but to be honest I don't really dislike the guy.
42. Who is the strongest vassal of Lord Nobunaga's crew? I always figure Shobata Katsuie as the physically strongest guy of the crew--
43. Who is the smartest vassal in Lord Nobunaga's crew? Hideyoshi, no doubt.
44. Who is your favourite woman among those who had to do with Lord Nobunaga? Mhhh... I liked his relationship with Kitsuno, but I'm more charmed by personalities like Kichou's, to tell the truth.
45. Who is the enemy of Lord Nobunaga that you hate the most? Those Asakura guys.
46. Who do you think was Lord Nobunaga's most faithful vassal? I'd say Toshiie, again.
47. Who do you think was Lord Nobunaga's arch-enemy? Takeda Shingen.
48. Who do you think was Lord Nobunaga's benefactor? Saitou Dosan. He was the first to recognize his wit and strenght.
49. If you were one of Lord Nobunaga's vassal, what rank would you like to have? Well, the one where I wouldn't risk my life XDDD I would like to be his artistic right hand, but I don't think that an artist could be considered a "vassal" XD
50. If you could time-travel to Sengoku era, where, when and what would you do? Ah! I would be an artist on a pilgrimage to paint all those Tokaido stations! Or a hundred views of Mount Azuchi! Ahahah!
51. If you could be one of those close to Lord Nobunaga, who would you like to be, and what would you like to do? Again, something artistic. A tea master. A poet. A dealer of Western paintings.
Nobunaga-sama took relief and peace by contemplating artistic creations and I like the idea of being the source of that pleasure so important to him.
52. If you could be Lord Nobunaga for one day, what would you like to do? That's a hard question! I don't know how much one could do in one day back then and it depends on which period of Nobunaga's life I'd find myself in-- But I'd probably do something unexpected just for the pleasure and fun to do it in Nobunaga's shoes.
53. What would you think would have happened if Lord Nobunaga didn't win the Battle of Okehazama? Hard to say. He could have won the next battle. Ieyasu would have been another of his enemies instead of a dutiful ally. He would be a retainer of Yoshimoto. It depends on many factors.
54. If Lord Nobunaga didn't die at Honnouji, how would you think that history would have changed? Probably Japan would have experienced an early Meiji era.
55. Did you ever visited one of the historical places related to Lord Nobunaga? Yes, various. You can read about it here.
56. Recommend one of them. My favourite spots have been Atsuta shrine and Kiyosu castle-- But I still have a lot to see ^_^
57. Which one would you like visit, yet? Too many! All the temples in Kyoto related to him, the Tsushima and Jaike temples in Nagoya, the battlefields of Nagashino and Anegawa--!
58. Did you ever visited Lord Nobunaga's tomb? Not the "official" one at Amidadera, but I checked the one at Sofukuji, in Gifu.
59. What would you pray for, in front of his tomb? Peace for his soul, of course.
60. Is there an event or a festival about Lord Nobunaga that you'd like to recommend? Unfortunately I just managed to attend one festival dedicated to Nobunaga-sama, and I don't feel like recommending it unless you're a die-hard Nobu fan or you happen in Gifu in that period.
I got to know about a recent festival dedicated no Nobunaga in Kiyosu castle that looked promising, but I don't know how accessible it could be for a Non-Japanese speaker.
I'm also intrigued by the Funaoka Matsuri in Kyoto, if just as a chance to see the Nobunaga's memorabilia preserved into Kenkun shrine.
61. Is there a gadget of Lord Nobunaga that you bought without thinking twice? A plushie of Nobu-sama at Gifu castle ^_^ So cute, I had to buy one!
62. Is there a gadget of Lord Nobunaga that you didn't manage to get? I was interested in this figurine, but unless its price drops significantly I don't think that I'll ever buy it XD
63. Is there something of Lord Nobunaga's personality in yours? Mmmh, the love for beautiful things, an impulsive and straightforward character.
64. If you could compare yourself to one of the persons close to Lord Nobunaga, who would you be and why? I can't think of anyone... But maybe I'd fit the Shibata Katsuie type: loyal, strong, pigheaded and determined. I can totally see myself opposing to Hideyoshi's attempt to turn the tables in his favor after Nobunaga's death.
65. Do you know other fans of Lord Nobunaga? Yes, of course.
66. Did you ever turn someone into a fan of Lord Nobunaga? No, I never had this chance. Mostly because, as much as I love to impose my points of view to others on subjects of common interest, I can't stand the idea of dragging someone into my same interests.
I prefer to deal with people who are already competent on the issue instead of "rising" them myself.
67. Is there something that you can boast about to other Lord Nobunaga's fans? My Nobunaga's figure, ahahahah!
I also like to brag about my Nobunaga Tour in Japan, but I realize that I still miss a lot of locations--
68. If you know a little known trivia about Lord Nobunaga, tell us! I recently got to know about certain snacks that Nobunaga liked to glomp in his life: hiryozu, a sort of dumpling consisting in various ingredients wrapped in ground tofu, and deep fried nuts, this last a confectionery that he got from a Portuguese visitor.
69. Tell us a wordplay (refs to goroawase) about Lord Nobunaga that you like. I know the one about the strawberry pants, but I don't find it amusing and I don't know of other--
70. Is there something about being a fan of Lord Nobunaga that was useful to you? As in everyday life..? Mh, not really.
71. And what about something about it that was a problem for you? Well, when I start talking about him I got weird looks from people-- Aaah, the ignorance!
72. What is a thing about Lord Nobunaga that made you happy? That he loved persimons, ahah! It's one of my favourites, too!
73. What is a thing about Lord Nobunaga that made you sad? His tragic end at Honnouji.
74. Is there a novelist, researcher, scholar that you like? I'm not very familiar with the issue, but I'd say that I appreciate the hard work on divulgations of mister Lamers.
75. Is there a novelist, researcher, scholar that you don't like? I'm not competent or resourceful enough to name any.
76. Is there a website where you contributed with articles or essays about Lord Nobunaga? There's this blog of mine, of course.
I tried to give some contribution to the Samurai Archive forum (no link for them) too, but the douches there made it clear that that wasn't my place.
77. If there's a website you love about Lord Nobunaga, link it to us. The website of Aichi, HOME of the Samurai Spirit has some interesting informations and trivias on Nobunaga and other samurai from Aichi Prefecture and it's in English, too :3
78. Tell us about a taiga drama featuring Lord Nobunaga that you liked. I only managed to watch King of ZIPANGU but I'm sure that it's not the best out there.
79. Tell us about a movie or TV series featuring Lord Nobunaga that you liked. I remember that I was positively amused by the Nobunaga portrayed in Kagemusha by Kurosawa.
80. Tell us about a TV show about Lord Nobunaga that you liked. I never had the chance to watch any.
81. Among the actors who performed as Lord Nobunaga, who is the best? I didn't watch the drama, but I liked the performance of Etsushi Toyokawa in Gō: Hime-tachi no Sengoku.
82. Is there an actor that you'd like to see performing as Lord Nobunaga? You'll probably take is as an heresy, but I loved how Chen Daoming portrayed the King of Qin in HERO. Whenever he moved on screen I couldn't help but think of Nobunaga.
83. Is there another person (or historical character) that reminds you of Lord Nobunaga? Again, Qin Shi Huang. Maybe it's because both HERO and Kingdom made such an impression on me, but as much as I see the many differences between the two personalities, both gave me the same intensity, determination and passion.
84. Did you ever play a videogame featuring Lord Nobunaga? If you have any to recommend us, please do! No, I don't play videogames.
85. Tell us about your impressions after you played it. I never played videogames, but I can tell that there are a few where Nobunaga's portrait truly meets my approvation.
I love the one from Sengoku Musou but the story was full of shit: I probably prefer generic stuff like Nobunaga no Yabou, I guess.
86. How many books do you own about Lord Nobunaga? Not many, because of language limitations. I'd say 4, if you wanna consider two biographies in comic format.
87. What is the book about Lord Nobunaga that you long for the most right now? I'm completely charmed by Okehazama no Michi right now-- It promises coverage on Nobunaga's youth, maps and routes to one-day trips.
--If just it came in English language!
88. Is there an historical document related to Lord Nobunaga (before Meiji era) that you'd like to recommend? A document which I find quite entertaining was the Ikensho, or "Remonstrance", a document composed of 17 articles where Nobunaga reprimanded the shogun Yoshiaki for his conduct-- I can't help lolling at the image of Nobunaga scolding a direct superior like that, it's a sign of his honest, straightforward personality-- Of course, Yoshiaki didn't take it nicely.
89. Is there an essay or research that you'd like to recommend us? The only one I can really suggest is the Japonius Tyrannus by Lamers--
90. Tell us about a novel featuring Lord Nobunaga that you liked. I had no chance to read any. I'm usually extremely wary of historical novels, expecially Japanese ones.
91. Tell us about a manga featuring Lord Nobunaga that you liked. The manga with the best portrayal of Nobunaga-sama is Sengoku by Miyashita Hideki.
92. Is there an author that you'd like would write about Lord Nobunaga? Can't think of any that I really care of and who's still living.
Well, there's Ameliè Nothomb-- She could write something cool on Nobunaga-sama, given her personality.
93. Do you have posters/portraits/illustrations of Lord Nobunaga displayed in your house? Err-- I do, my room XD It's posters and flyers related to Nobunaga's events and places that I managed to visit in my trips.
94. When do you think "I'm really a fan of Lord Nobunaga!"? When I start considering thing is a militaristic and strategical way, even when not required.
95. When do you think "I'm really obsessed over Lord Nobunaga!"? When I contemplate buying some absurd thing just because it's related to my Lord.
96. When do you think "I'm a failure as a fan of Lord Nobunaga!"? When I can't remember dates of Nobunaga's facts. I really suck at that, LOL.
97. If you won the lottery, what would you do related to Lord Nobunaga? I would rebuild Azuchi castle in its wholeness on top of the archaelogical sites on mount Azuchi.
98. Is there a question that you would have liked to see in this list? Well, asking for opinions on certain political or economical issues on Nobunaga-sama's administration would have been a serious challenge! Many remember about his battles but tend to forget that he was pretty smart on the economical side too.
99. Thank you for reaching this point. How long did you take? I don't know, but I have an urgency to pee now ;_;
100. And, in the end, what do Nobunaga rappresent for you? As I said at the beginning of this questionnaire, an inspiration. I don't think that another human being could reach a better spot than this in my heart.

"When do you think "I'm a failure as a fan of Lord Nobunaga!"

My answer would be "I DON'T EVEN KNOW HALF OF THE THINGS ASKED HERE!!! I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO LOOK FOR THEM!!! I AM SUCH A FAILURE AND I'M EMBARRASSED OF MYSELF"

*I cry tears of shame*

" I know the one about the strawberry pants, but I don't find it amusing and I don't know of other--"

I'd like to hear more about this! O___O It sounds so strange.

I did this questionnaire. OMG, my answers are all stupid.

It's interesting you mentioned Qin Shi Huang. That was my answer too, except in reverse. I know about Qin Shi Huang first, so I thought it's Nobu who is similar to him XD

"I recently got to know about certain snacks that Nobunaga liked to glomp in his life: hiryozu, a sort of dumpling consisting in various ingredients wrapped in ground tofu, and deep fried nuts, this last a confectionery that he got from a Portuguese visitor."

This one I never heard before too! Tell me more about it! XD

I think the Chinese were a little more developed than Japan because a lot of the stuff in Japan were inspired by China in the first place. And the Japanese people really don't like to change. So long as it still works, why change? The Chinese change around things a lot.

Oh, that! I know the Aichi website, but I haven't been there for ages. I must have missed the info about the nuts and things. I only saw the yuzuke XD

Proverò a informarmi a tal proposito.
