...Unfortunately I remembered to take pictures only after me and my friends ate the most of the stuff XD Sorry, I was busy eating, LOL!
The sushi, maki and sashimi were very good and original!

A friend ordered two servings of tempura... She had no idea of how huge they were, so we had to squeeze all of it in our mouth XD

It was a filling dinner though!
I had a beer with it, and some litchi fruits
...Even if not "strictly Japanese", I really enjoyed my meal here! I hope to have the chance to go there again, and try more sushi places with my friends ^_^ !
PS: I'm writing this the morning after and I'm still digesting ;_;

Date: 26/8/14 17:13 (UTC)Sapporo beer! :D I had that once - tasted just like the basic Tyskie, at four times the price. XD

Date: 27/8/14 09:19 (UTC)The deal with beers is intriguing, but I admit that I'm not an expert XD My favourite is the Moretti and my more "educated" fellows consider me as a child because of it XD
What's your opinion on the issue?
I tried to look for some kind of "top ten" but the most of them are American (= biased), and they talk about stuff that tastes like vanilla, chocolate, brandy-- And it just doesn't feel right :/

Date: 27/8/14 17:55 (UTC)I had Moretti once - like Sapporo, it was good but not exceptional; I like Peroni Nastro Azzurro much better. I think your friends are being snooty elitists! XD
My favourite beer is Franziskaner Hefe-Weissbier NaturtrĂ¼b, and wheat beers in general. There was a time when I only cared for the Redd's apple-flavoured beer, but those were my earliest days as an avid alcoholic. XD Nowadays I prefer more classical beers, although I don't mind the more fancy ones every now and then. And as for American beers, I've never had any, but I hear they pretty much amount to piss mixed with water. XD

How cute! You did try a Moretti XD !
Yes, it's not exceptional, but it's perfect for my pizza meals, ahah!
My friends usually drink Ceres :/ I tried it, but I found it too strong T^T
Yeah, when it comes to beer you can trust your fellow Germans, expecially those from Munich!
I'd like to attend one of those Oktoberfest event :/ Not much for getting drunk or the feast (what, I'll be there for the wrong reasons then, LOL!), but to try those inviting beers!
The deal with American beers sure is suspicious! Some of them DO look inviting, but how can I trust them?
Time ago I was browsing some Japanese site about food to look for infos about ekiben, and I stumbled over some event about international beer... I checked it out of curiosity, nodded at the German, Danish, Belgian stuff, then I noticed a brand of American beer and I was like "Uh?" XD It felt like one of those "Find the intruder" games, so I investigated, but somehow I can't feel like trusting the reviews I found..! I mean, they all came from American-based websites..!
--I should try one, but I don't think that they are sold somewhere outside the American borders (maybe this is a hint XD)...
Speaking of apple-flavoured beers (...), did you ever try a "radler"?
I had no chance to do that yet, this year it's been the trend of summer... Last year only Dreher made it, but after Moretti, Ichnusa and Peroni came up with their version I started to get intrigued...

Date: 28/8/14 16:50 (UTC)I did drink a Warka Radler a month ago. It was pretty good, very lemony and refreshing, great for a hot day. However, there was the typical bitter taste you'd expect from a beer under the lemon flavour, which may not be to everyone's liking. Redd's doesn't have that bitterness, which is probably why I liked it those +12 years ago - it took me a while to realise it's supposed to be there. XD

Sounds intriguing, I must try that... Tomorrow when I'll get off from work I'll try to take a peek to the local supermarket...
