To celebrate Hato-kun's appearance in the anime with that outfit, FIGURES POST TIME!!!

So, this last month has been nothing but a series of tragedies one after the other-- I had little time to focus on my otaku duties (and I still have!) but I did my best to catch up with all the anime and mangas out (I'm still missing some-- See Bakuman and Magi T_T;), if just to keep myself out of negative thoughts--

I must say that the last chapters of Genshiken fills me with hope about the Madarame/Hato thing... I mean, Madarame is definitely quite oblivious about it, but I think that something is starting to bloom in Hato's "maiden heart"... If just for some hints here and there... I must draw Kosaka/Hato porn, with all that delicious trap cosplay thrown at me∼!

If Genshiken is filling me with expectations, I'm quite unamused by the recent abuse of heterosexuality pitiful pairing-up games in Beelzebub. First that Kumayama thing that killed me inside, now this crappy Christmas event (I tend to forget that in Japan Christmas is another kind of Valentine Day =_=;) where everyone is paired up..! --I must say that I'm somehow amused by the Azuma/Kunieda pairing, though ò_o --Damn, this thing looks like it's really going to last 'til Christmas ToT; *throws up*

There was a batch release of Ikusa no Ko last week, which made me quite happy... I'm still a bit WTF over the whole thing (why were those "Inu" and "Saru" OCs introduced? Wasn't it better to use the actual Toshiie and Hideyoshi..?) but-- It's inspiring me. I WANNA DRAW A COMIC ABOUT YOUNG NOBUNAGA TOO ;3; --AND FILL IT WITH GAY NOBU/TOSHI STUFF!

Speaking of anime, I'm enjoying K way too much (Don't you ship Mikoto with the blue megane too?!), but my favourite new series is still Psycho-Pass :3
I'm a bit disturbed, 'cause I think that this anime is helping me with understanding, or at least tolerating, other people's circumstances and how they modify their behaviour... Don't look at me that way, no, I don't really understand those things. I guess this happens when you have just two moods like I do.

Also, how awesome is Uchuu Kyoudai?!! This series just gets better and better, I'm in love with everyone T_T ! (and I don't feel like making up yaoi pairings [but-- Azuma/Hibito... What about it XD ?], it must mean that it's quite good on its own!)...

...Fuck the pounds, I'm going to buy this NOW!

ARGH, I'M SO ANXIOUS T_T; I'm still waiting for the Sameyome booklets to find their way home ;_; I don't even know if they were printed already, if they were shipped-- ARGH, THIS WAITING IS KILLING ME!!!
I'm wondering what to do if I won't bring these "Event Only" booklets ;_; They're Event Only, I can't go and try to sell 'em online anymore T_T; ARGH, I DON'T EVEN WANNA THINK ABOUT IT!!! After all the extra efforts that I put theeeereee! *head explodes*

I'm so glad that Itachi and Sasuke decided to join forces against Kabutomaru ;_; It's all SO CUTE and MOVING, and we get more delicious "childhood flashbacks" :D

I was overjoyed when Kio Shimoku exhumed the corpse of Genshiken to give us a sequel to the epic adventures of the otaku of Shiio University but-- Recently I'm getting kinda bothered by the road that this manga is taking.

Let's be serious, I loved Genshiken because it was an informative manga about otaku, where we readers could get to know more about all otaku things and develop a healthy feeling of comradeship. Genshiken was the first manga to make us otaku feel all "warm and fuzzy" about each other: it was about the development of human relationships among people who tended to be introverted because they couldn't chat about their passions and emotions like other people do: let's face it, to talk about the awesomeness of a PVC figure, it's not something that you can do with the same obviousness that you use to talk about the last movie that you watched or the weather, or, I don't know, how ugly would get Sarkozy's daughter if she took after her father.
The way the protagonist got more and more confident because of the friendship that he developed with his fellows, and how everyone managed to get over their flaws because of human interaction is like an essay on humankind evolution.

Now, Genshiken Niidaime is just one of those crappy awkward love commedies (the first one that comes to my mind is the horrible No Bra) that the world doesn't need.
Ok, I indulged myself with Hato-kun and how well he'd be with Madarame-san, and how naughty would be Kosaka in his maid outfit, but that's just fanservice, I'm old enough to see it, no :/ ? Where's the development, the IDENTIFICATION..? 'Til now the only thing that we're wondering if who's going to get paired up with Hato-kun, and we all know that when a manga focus on such things, it tends to be crappy :/

So, I'm sorry, but if I won't get a chapter about online auctions or the joys of collecting thousand versions of the same figure soon, I'm going to drop this and remove Genshiken from my list of favourites.

Oh, guys ;_; ...

1) So, on August 15 I went to the summer festival here dedicated to Virgin Mary-- I was wearing my yukata (everyone was shocked to see me dressed up like that and I couldn't escape some sarcastic comments, but at least nobody made fun of me and a guy selling crepes showered me with compliments about how awesome and pretty I was --And that was probably the most embarassing part XDD) and I took a few pictures of the place and at a certain point, when I was taking picture of a Porchetta stand, MY CAMERA FELL OUT OF MY HANDS AND CRASHED D': --Honestly, I'm still shocked about this. Now I have to buy a new camera T____T --And I didn't even manage to take a picture of myself in the streets in an abuse of folklore ;____;
Well, the son of the friend who came with me took a few pictures of me in yukata, but we were in their home during dinner with their relatives (ANOTHER MOST EMBARASSING MOMENT)-- Unfortunately both of them are technologically impaired XD, so they can't send them to me, but as soon as I'll teach them some stuff I could probably be able to share at least those, hopefully with what is inside the memory card of my dead camera ;_; *mourns*

2) The above friend, knowing that I hate communists and I love homosexuals, borrowed me "Before the Night falls" by Reinaldo Arenas.
It's a really wonderful book, bitter, fun, cruel, but never pathetic. I'm just surprised to see how much gay sex was available in Cuba even during Castro's dictatorship XD
My friend told me that there's a movie about it too, so we're going to rent and watch that together :D I really look forward to it, also if I don't know how all those happy fucking will be rendered on screen XD
--Also, in a fit literature libido, I bought "Fear and Trembling", "The Character of Rain" (...) and "Tokyo Fiancée" (...Seriously, who came with these terrible titles XDD ?!) by Amelie Nothomb, one of my favourite writers.
I bought them in English, 'cause I couldn't find the Italian editions on BookDepository, but I'm quite glad: I spent around 18 euros for all of them, when the average price in Italy would be something like 35 euros >_> --And then people call me "dishonest" 'cause I read books for free at Feltrinelli >_>;
..Please note that I owned "The Character of Rain" "The Metaphisics of Pipes" already, but I borrowed to someone and it got lost ;___;

3) In these days I went into huge fights with everyone D: It's obviously my problem, but recently I find everyone stupid, irritating and worth my rage.
I'm probably just ovulating, but the only result I got was halfing my Facebook friendlist... I feel bitter, but also relieved. --Tastes a bit like "Justice", yanno.

4) When browsing pixiv I stumbled on a porny picture of Haruka and Natsuki from Uta☆Pri and I FELT LIKE THROWING UP.
Recently I'm also in a rabid shipper mode. I'm sorry, it's the worst kind of fujoshi and I know it, but as I got more and more amused by some pairings I can't really stand anything different D':

5) Apparently Fei from Sacred Seven is not a cute shota, but a cute loli. I want to assume that the subbers can't just translate but it's not very likely and so I HATE THE WORLD.
Well, probably it's weirder to think that he was a boy instead of a girl and be so SURE about it as I was XD Pico, DAMN YOU!

And that was a tasteless introduction for a fixing post! In my previous contribution to teh intraweb (but even earlier XD) I forgot to tell you that I also read the new chapter of Genshiken Niidaime (effortlessly translatable as "Genshiken 2", LOL)∼! And if the previous chapter kinda made me look positively at Yajima/Hato (Yajima tops, LOL) now SCREW THAT, I'M ALL FOR MADARAME/HATO, AHAHAHAHAH x'DDDD
Ok, never going to happen, but I loved Madarame looking all classy salaryman trying to seduce the cute fudanshi trap x'DDDD I mean, I guess that was just some kind of over-reaction to the fact that his crush has been discovered, fueled by Sue's weird suggestions to avoid a broken heart, but I totally loved it x'DDDDD
Also, I start to have the scary vibe that Hato cleans Madarame's house clean everytime because-- HE FEELS GUILTY BECAUSE HE FAPS THERE OVER HIS YAOI STUFF D':
Anyway, I'm not very happy with this Genshiken sequel-- Probably I was just nostalgic of the previous characters, but I think that turning Genshiken into a fujoshi club cuts much of the realistic vibe of this series :/ I mean, one could easily sympathize with the previous characters, their hobbies, virtues and flaws, but now, well, there's just room for some character development, isn't there? But it's going to be difficult to render properly if the reader can't even vaguely relate to the protagonists :/
...Well, I hope that this "chancge in tastes" will at least contribute with more Genshiken yaoi doujinshi, ahah >D

This said, I feel like shoving Hato in my top-three of traps characters:
Actually, the third place is not as stable and obvious as the first two: Mariya and Kurako are so awesome that I may love 'em also if they're actual female characters (even Mariya, despite being so moe), but Hato, well, I guess that I like him ONLY because he's crossdressing XD
But I won't be an hypocrite trying to sound reasonable over things like feelings: I LOVE TRAPS BECAUSE THEY ARE TRAPS, please, God of Manga, let them all find a cool man to lose their innocence with! *brushes away the fact that they're still straight boys XD*

Also, while browsing for Kuragehime stuff, I got to see that some loli-clothes popular brand released a series of dresses based on it!
The "Jellyfish Dress" is particularly cute!!

This morning I started to work on your Christmas gifts! I finished to sketch the pictures that involved non-anime characters... Drawing them has been quite refreshing and frustrating at the same time. Refreshing 'cause it's always nice to rape the style of realistic characters (I'M SO SORRY IF THEY WON'T LOOK AT ALL AS THE ORIGINALS), frustrating because NEXT TIME GIVE ME REFERENCES, YOU DAMN MORONS!!! I NEED REFERENCES, I NEED REFERENCES TO DRAW CHARACTERS THAT I DON'T KNOW!! --Do you know how HORRIBLE it is to browse on Google looking for a decent pic of a damn videogame character? And what when the character is part of a fucking SAGA and there are a THOUSAND versions of him? FORTUNATELY I TOLD YOU TO GIVE ME REFERENCES, YOU FUCKTARDS. I should ignore your requests but I'm too STUFFED WITH CHRISTMAS SPIRIT to do so (♥) !
--So, tomorrow I'm planning on working on the OC requests. As you probably got I need references.
